LANCER LX - Like other Rocstor products, LANCER LX drives are both bus-powered and bootable. The new LANCER LX pocket drives may contain fast, high-capacity 2.5” SATA or SSD drive mechanism; with up to 5000Mbits/sectransfer speeds and multiple interfaces.

A combination of ports, FireWire 800 (1394b IEEE) and Supper-Speed USB 3.0, makes this multi-interface device one of the most versatile drives in the market. For extra flexibility, optional cables can connect the FireWire 800 port to any FireWire 400 (1394a IEEE) or USB 3.0 to any USB 2.0 ports in any Mac or PC.
The shock-absorbent casing protects the drive against impact damage and accidental drops and bumps to prolong product life and protect data integrity. The wide array of ports ensures maximum compatibility regardless of the type of computer or operating system in use.
Wide Range of Applications
Operating with Mac OS, Linux, and Windows, this external drive offers storage capacities ranging from 500GB to 1TB hard drive or solid-state drives, as well as “plug-and-play” capability. The safety-centric mechanical design of Lancer 2.5” enclosures provides critical hardware protection features including:
Secure shock-absorbent Mechanism
The full-length bridgeboard provides additional protection by supporting the entire length of the hard drive. Strong aluminum rim hold the hard drive chassis firmly in place eliminating stress on the bridgeboard and preventing damage due to impact or violent movement.
Shock-absorbent Protection
The shock-absorbent dampers strip between the bridgeboard and chassis offers additional resistance against accidental drops and bumps. The disposition of the hard drive and housing profile form an anti-shock chamber to cushion the blow of potential impacts.
Thermal Protection and load-bearing case
The precision density of the RUGGED ALUMINUM Aircraft Grade border provides excellent heat dissipation and is strong enough to bear external weight.
