The eSATA Express Card/34 provides host adapters and support a single-lane 2.5GB/s PCI Express bus; eSATA (SATA II) transfer rate of 3.0 GB/sec, delivering dramatic speed increases over USB 2.0 and FireWire. Point to point SATA connection, by eliminating conversion of the eSATA signal to a second interface, unlocks the full potential of SATA II data transfer speed when used.
The eSATA Raid Express Card/34 (Y002EC-2R) model provides the RAID storage management options discerning users demand, including RAID 0, 1, 5, 10, and JBOD. Designed for PC Windows based.
